As far as I can tell, it looks like a decent game. I can't personally justify spending over $60 on a game, and even then I wouldn't pay the full $60. There will always be some kind of bugs on any platform, no game is perfect.

In my experience it's been relatively buggy for a usually well polished game on release (good or not does is not the same as polished). There was a micropatch... yesterday I believe (the 17th), which fixed some crashing issues. There are other very annoying things with the game though. The melee sound (upon getting hit, not when hitting) is exceptionally loud. Like 2-3 times louder than anything else in the game, even the start up (turn your volume down for the start up, you can outright disable it in settings). Also, there is insane bloom on some maps (namely Militia and Hacienda, although Hacienda is mostly indoors). This is impossible to turn down/off as bloom is not an option in the settings. Nor is there any option remotely related. Feel free to ask any other questions, I have most of my hours in MP and Zombies, but played plenty of Blackout in beta, and it didn't change much.

My Build, v2.1 --- CPU: i7-8700K @ 5.2GHz/1.288v || MoBo: Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E Gaming || RAM: 4x4GB G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 2666 14-14-14-33 || Cooler: Custom Loop || GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC Black, on water || PSU: EVGA G2 850W || Case: Corsair 450D || SSD: 850 Evo 250GB, Intel 660p 2TB || Storage: WD Blue 2TB || G502 & Glorious PCGR Fully Custom 80% Keyboard || MX34VQ, PG278Q, PB278Q

Audio --- Headphones: Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 6XX || Amp: Schiit Audio Magni 3 || DAC: Schiit Audio Modi 3 || Mic: Blue Yeti

The Experiment --- CPU: i5-3570K @ 4.0 GHz || MoBo: Asus P8Z77-V LK || RAM: 16GB Corsair 1600 4x4 || Cooler: CM Hyper 212 Evo || GPUs: Asus GTX 750 Ti, || PSU: Corsair TX750M Gold || Case: Thermaltake Core G21 TG || SSD: 840 Pro 128GB || HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB

R.I.P. Asus X99-A motherboard, April 2016 - October 2018, may you rest in peace. 5820K, if I ever buy you a new board, it'll be a good one.

Is it worth the 90$ price

It's already $39.00-$44.00 for Xbox One on eBay. $47.00-$52.00 on PC. I don't know where you got $90.00 from.

any bugs on pc

I've heard of a crashing bug with the intro movie from people that aren't computer savvy. There's fixes so if you're good with computers squashing this bug shouldn't be an issue. A patch has probably already been rolled out by now.

Check the ini files. Bloom is most likely in there and you can turn it off there.

Also, I seen a setting called Global Illumination in the settings. I know that has to do with lighting, not sure if it has to do with bloom though. Best way to find out is to put this at low or medium and see if it does anything to those maps. If it doesn't, crank it back to where you had it of course.

What bugs have you encountered? Most bugs can be squashed.

1. Memory leak bug.

When first run the game, memory usage was 2 GBs

After 4 matches, became 12 GBs

I exit the game and started again. It quicked raised to ... 20 GBs in 1 minute and crashed.

If I restart whole comp, it will be normal again.

2. Weapon lag

Last night I encountered this weird bug, only 1 time.

When I dropped 1 gun to change to new one, the old gun stuck there. It looks like I carry 3 guns with me.

You can say it's nice but it's annoying af. I had to press two times to change to the gun I want. Somemore I could not attach equipment to the "laggy gun"

3.Battlenet connection error

Sometimes I got this error in the middle of the match, or at the last circle.

4. Can not loot

Sometimes, I could not loot at all. Happened 2,3 times

All these are things you need to bring forth to the attention of the developers. https://support.activision.com/pkb_Home?clickedOn=Call_of_Duty_Black_Ops_4

If you do so, they will look into squashing these bugs and/or guide you to solving them from your end. 2. and 4. are definitely the types of bugs the devs will have to squash. 1. may be something they will guide you to fix through their live chat. 3. sounds like a common issue with the game in its beginning stages and will most likely be fixed with future updates. It's still best to let the devs know about all 4 of these on their website.

Im quite lazy when it comes to report bug lol

For number 1 and 3, it's a known issue and affect a lot of users so I would not worry about that.

For number 2, It only happened to me 1 time right after the update. If it happens again , I will report.

I just bought the game yesterday and despite having a lot of fun there are some issues I have.

Snipers are OP as hell. They have been on PC for previous CoD games. It's clear they are balanced for the controller where most guns on console have auto-aim a scoped sniper does not which acts as a nerf for consoles players, whereas due to mouse precision it's too easy to consistently one shot everyone at close or long range, this was a big complaint of mine in BO3 as well, it was great to be that dick who runs around with a red dot on a sniper and one shot people but not so fun to be on the receiving end of it. Bad balance!

The character skins look goofy. The new Mexican style ones look especially bad

Low tick rate servers, I think this is most noticed due to the 'magic bullet' effect. Where on your screen you have gotten around a corner to safety and then die. But on the kill cam, you see that on the opponent's screen you were never round the corner. Again not just an issue with this CoD game.

Lack of guns, in BO3 they also had limited guns at launch and then locked new guns (some objectively best guns in the game) behind RNG loot crates. My whole time playing that game I never once got a new gun from a loot crate. It was clear they were designed to be very hard to get unless you splashed the cash, for more of that currency.

Over the coming weeks, I'm sure my list of complaints will grow. Despite really enjoying CoD nothing makes me quite as salty. I don't like the specialists as much as I did in BO3 although it will take me a little longer play time to articulate why. Some of the abilities really annoy me when I play against them. I have never felt more often in a CoD that I died and there was nothing I could do about it, just due to the different abilities. Like that fucking one shotting dog

Despite all of this I still think it is way better than WW2 which was a disappointment, and if you're looking for boots on the ground CoD this is where it's at. Shooting feels good. I like the increased time to kill, some of the new game types are fun, time will tell if I continue to enjoy it. I did buy the more expensive version so I hope so.

Call of Duty is never worth it...

...Unless you really really really really want to play CoD Battle Royale, which I heard is pretty decent.

I’m getting it for free with my new cpu but I can’t justify spending even 60 on a game, especially a call of duty. It’s just the same game every year with a few additions
