i found this in my Parts drawer, is it an SSD? if so, how do i know how much space is on it?

there is a barcode that has the string P11B5-BCQ-D4GVBPP-5560     DSKSTHMI20

i am pretty sure it is an SSD, but i don’t remember ever getting one..

Doesn't look like. At least not something resembles any consumer SSD.

Looks like a really really old hard drive. Back when they had Molex connectors for an unknown reason.

maybe like a hard drive from a PC from 2004? i took one of those apart a while back, it might have come from that

It looks like the drive uses IDE. Which is really old.

Don't know any SSD uses IDE connector.

Worked so much with them.. slave master or CS feels like yesterday :D

Having said that, that does not look like anything i have seen in consumer pc's Its not IDE or the old SCISI.

Can u shoot some better pictures of the connector? Wondering what it is.

most certainly not a SSD.

Looks like a IDE/PATA drive, but one of the lesser used 22 pin versions. (Single row instead of double row)

It's most likely "PATA" (IDE) but in a proprietary connection.

A quick google search brought up 5 adapters in one photo.
