Mic splitter not doing its job

So i just got a splitter for my headset so i could use the mic and headphones at the same time, but only the headphones seem to work. Here is what i have and some extra info.

i have hyperx stinger and no i didnt check, lemme check somehow.

It might be a common thing, also, did you check the sensitivity?

i already had it on max and with mic boost on mic properties there is a LOT of static
