why are people so obsessed with electric cars are they not understanding that majority of electricity is not clean?!

depends where you live, here 99.9% of the electricity comes from hydroelectricity.

also it s far more efficient to have powerplant create the power than it is to use small engines.

car engines turn 30% ish of the energy into motion while turbines can get effiency higher than 50% and use methods to capture the polution created. (some store the co2 to make byproducts or even more gas(with algea or bacteria?))
