MSI GeForce GTX 760 4GB or XFX Radeon R9 280X

I'm just wondering if i should get the MSI GeForce GTX 760 4GB or XFX Radeon R9 280X

for playing skyrim modded because the 760 have more v-ram and they are both the same

price. Any answers would be helpful.

One problem out of these too is the 760 4Gb, it has a 256bit memory bus, this might not mean much, but it does let you know how much memory effectively that the card can use. The rule of thumb with the bus is to have 128bits for every gigabyte of VRAM this makes sure the video card has a wide enough bus to use the memory effectively. The 280x would be a much better option but, currently its price is really inflated (seeing them around 450 a card, when there MRSP was 299.99) because of bitcoin but if you can snag a good deal should be a great card.

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790k CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i Chassis/Case: Fractal Design Arc Midi R2  Motherboard: Asus Z87-Deluxe RAM:  Team Vulcan 2x4Gb(2133Mhz)  Video Card: Asus 7970 Direct CU II Custom Rom (150% Power, 1100 core 6Ghz Memory)  Power Supply: Fractal Integra R2 750 Watt  Keyboard: Cooler Master Quick Fire Rapid (MX Blue Switches)  MouseCorsair M90 Storage: SX900 128Gb, Seagate 1TB 7200RPM, WD Green 1TB 7200RPM   MY OLD BUILDLOG

That's not a bad deal if you seen any 7970's still around for cheap that's what I did there the same card but for 399.99 you could get a 770 as well its a bit faster then the 280x I'd take a peak at prices and benchmarks and decided with everything in mind

They cheapest I can find 7970's in Australia is $399 so I might as well get the 280x
