So a friend of mine linked me a map of DayZ. It's pretty awesome. They recently (today) added where hospitals are located, weapons, supplies, etc. It's helpful for people just starting out, or as a reference.

This is pretty common knowledge (website has been around since the mod) but i'm sure some people haven't heard of it before.

The maps good, but it kind of defeats the whole idea of the game. Now people are just going to go straight to the weapons etc, without having to do the whole survival thing of foraging etc.

 

This map is more for beginners starting out. If you have played the game for a week the loot spawns are very predictable.

If you play the game for any meaningful time at all, you will know what spawns where and what is worth your time.

That is true for both the mod and SA.
