Stuck pixel on a fresh screen?

My new monitor has arrived today, and after a couple hours of usage I noticed this..

I ran JScreenFix for over an hour while watching the CS major and it's still there. Opinions, suggestions?

(I heard about pressing it with something gentle but oh god I don't want to touch this fresh fingerprint free screen.)

If it matters, it's a BenQ XL2536 incase you have something to share about brands etc. idk hElp.

If it's new you might be able to get it replaced

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Isn't a dead pixel normally black? Like just not displaying any color, this one is just purple. I will try playing some videos for unstucking pixels in loop mode overnight and I hope it's gone tommorow. If not I will contact the shop on eBay.

Yes it's technically a stuck pixel but still just as broken. It's possible you could have it get unstuck but it's all about luck at that point.
