Step 1. go to place where you want towork

Step 2. get told by the other employees to apply online

Step 3. apply online.

This is the simplest way of getting a part time minimum wage job, if you want to do something more high paid it will depend on what you can do.

Definitely agree, the best way to apply for a job is to walk in and hand in your resume. If its your first job, then don't set your goals too high.

First time job seekers can only hand in blank resume.

"Skills-orientated" really, still useful. If you are into labour work you are expected to know how to use power tools off the bat, as anyone should. To have a good grasp of the work you are doing is very useful.

Like I know its not useful but you're not going to hand in a blank piece of paper which shows no initiative or effort.

i am living in india and did send my resume to so many companises online not a single word from them

Print out 50 resumes.

Go around town, and apply to literally every store you pass - even if there's no hiring ad.

Keep applying online.

not true, say you are applying for a job where you use power tools and table saws and stuff, you can put down that you took shop class and have experience using tools or if you apply to work at a mechanic shop and you have in the past helped people do an oil change or rotate tires you can write that down or if you took a car class in school. anything helps,

just think if two people applied for a wood working job that only has one open spot and one has no resume and the other has a resume but it only says I took woodshop in high school so I know how to use power and hand tools very well along with the safety precautions that come with it. who do you think will be called back.

Whoever has the better looks. I would hire whoever I find the most attractive.
