ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti ROG Strix

iRudeboyC

Hey guys!

I hope you can help me … I am starting a new pc build with the GTX Strix 1080Ti which is great however I have noticed the CUDA cores are 3584 and Clock Speed is 1480MHz.

And yes I did type that correctly!

I'm from the UK, I am on PC World website.

That must be a type error on their part …. right?!

I am a noob so laymen terms are appreciated! Thanks in advance guys.

Yes those are correct, the clock speed is what the base speed is, it will boost itself to 1708Mhz at the highest.

Ignore the clock speed on the box.

GPU Boost 3.0 will make the card run well above 1800MHz-1900MHz automatically without you having to touch anything.

Okay excellent thank you. I was in a state of shock when reading the clock speed.

Thank you for the quick replies!
