Could be mate! But even that I can't understand - Time to get my translate on!

On a more serious note though, seems like not everything was highlighted properly, therefore looking funky.

Cheers for the heads up mate, didn't see that :)

Maybe it could be cause it's translating from a photo that has been taken at an angle? Either way, it translated the transcription correctly (even the grammar is almost correct, cause the sentences are so short), so if it captures the words correctly in the photo, it should translate properly (but peoples' handwriting can differ :P).

Then you get Hong Kong English where it's Asian-English (as in British) sounding English.

In all seriousness though, there are so many loan words in Japanese. In addition, they like shortening them, so you get things like "sumafo" which is short for "sumaatofon" (smartphone).

DW, I'm abnormal in that ppl from China will ask me where from China I'm from, and I have to awkwardly answer that I'm an ABC.

Were you raised up in the States or had you spent a few years in China?

I've been to Taiwan as well but only there for a few minutes to catch a plane to the USA. I've been to Singapore for a week. It was blazing hot.... And I thought Florida(lived there for a few years) was the hottest place on Earth hehe

Tang dynasty poems like 春晓 and 静夜诗 are usually taught to Chinese first graders so I thought you had some edcuation in China. I wonder if kids in Taiwan, Singapore, and Hongkong learn the same thing in grade school.

Ah, my teacher used books meant for students in China, rather than foreign language books, that might've been why.
