Is $US85 more expensive though and it even come with a SSD.

I'd say a 1050 Ti and SSD are definitely worth the extra $85.

I have a old laptop and I am looking for a reasonable price gaming laptop. After Some Researching, I found out a model name "MSI GV62 7RE". It has a i5-8300H processor but came with a 2GB version of Gtx 1050, but I found out that most recent games require more than 2GB of VRAM.

My other choice is "Acer Nitro 5 AN515-51-5531". It has i5-7300HQ which is performance slightly slower and the previous one but come with a 4Gb version of Gtx 1050. So which one should I choose and If I want to choose the first one what setting I need to change in order for 30+ fps. By the way I want to play some AAA games and sometimes I play some large Minecraft modpacks(High CPU Usage) with I cousins.

I will Leave the specs sheet here:

MSI GV62 7RE

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-7300HQ
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 4GB
  • Display: 15.6”, Full HD (1920 x 1080), IPS
  • Storage: 1000GB HDD
  • RAM: 8GB DDR4, 2400MHz

Long story short: No.

Even if you DSR 1440p it, the 1050 is too weak to handle 1440p at a reasonable framerate.

I think you have a unrealistic point of what your going to get out of+/- 800$ laptops. You would be better off building a 900$ pc

Sadly to say that I don't have space for a pc because I am studying in a boarding school. And btw, the I only stream when the framerate is stable so u can forget about the stream part

With that laptop your looking at around 30fps in tomb raider which to me is unplayable but for some people its ok. If you want 60fps i would recommend a 1060 and 8th gen i5 possibly.

I am ok with 30fps because I always play games in low framerate. And I just found "Asus TUF FX504GD" With have both i5-300H and a gtx 1050 4gb but it lacks a type-c port. Do you think it that worth to choose?

Type C isnt that important unless you want to charge your type c phone or transfer data etc. I would say get something with a 1050ti in at least

I can handle 1080p 60fps on medium with my ASUS laptop (i5 + 1050 2GB). So no possible way to run games at 1440p, especially not something like Tomb Raider.

I think you're REALLY confused on specs, the 7700HQ is best 7th gen laptop CPU IIRC, much better than the i5s in the other options. So that's a faster CPU and a faster GPU.

Ah, 1080p. How do you run the benchmark on tomb raider? Because I can run that on my laptop (never actually played the game though I do have it) and let you know what settings it can handle. I doubt you could stream the game though, that'd probs be asking too much of a 1050.

Which i5 though? If it's an 8th gen it should be really good. I have an i5 that beats out some i7s in my laptop, because it's got a decent speed and it's hyper threaded (so each of the 4 cores can do 2 things at once, making it 4c/8t).
