This will be my biased answer but browns since I have my Shine 3 with them and I have tried the blues and they were just a little too loud for me and browns are just fine. They are also really nice to game on and made me type much faster than ever before.

I love blues, got 2 mechanical kb's now, both with blues; The CMStorm Quickfire TK and the Corsair K70.

I did notice some variation in the feel between the two, the tactile feel of the K70 is somehow less pronounced than on the QFTK. But no doubt blues are my favorites.

 

I suppose I could do with browns/clears, although the clickyness of the blues is somehow so darn satisfying to my ears.

I'd love to try out greens though since they are essentially blues but heavier. Sometimes I feel the blues are just perfect and sometimes I find them to be a bit too light.

I recently purchased the Corsair K70 Black/Red Cherry MX Red's, I can say I like the feel a lot, but this is my first Mechanical Keyboard.

I really don't think there is a "best" Cherry MX switch because it depends on the purposes you use it for. For example, I'm using a Cherry MX Brown keyboard. I could have bought a Cherry MX Blue since I do a ridiculous amount of typing, but the additional noise as well as the fact that I play games made it less favorable. I don't have a "best" necessarily because besides the fact that this is really the only Cherry mechanical keyboard I've ever owned, it seems superfluous to pick one when it's not so much the user's preference that determines what's best, but how they're using it.

That said, I have typed with Cherry MX Blue switches when I was demoing a Razer DeathStalker at a Best Buy. It felt far more amazing than the Logitech G710+ to the right, which used Cherry MX Browns. Right now, I use Browns because I'm a bit sensitive to noise and I like the balance between gaming and typing, but Cherry MX Blue switches are probably the most comfortable for me to type on despite having more actuation force than Browns. Believe me, when I saw a Vengeance K70 with MX Blues available, I almost bought it. It sold out right before I made my decision, but I don't regret my purchase any less - if only because this is a damn fine keyboard.
