recommendation for school laptop

Ok, so I need a new computer for school.
Going to study for a bachelor in information security with a CCNA certification.
So will probably have to run a few VMs and compile a bunch of c++ code.
MUST be silent at idle and smaller loads like in a typical lecture and stuff.

Budget around 1900 USD ( or like 15 000 Norwegian kroner (NOK))

Thanks in advance

Could you list out all laptops with 8250U/8350U/8550U/8650U/8300H/8750H/7700HQ CPU? (just model names, don't need full specs)

ok, so I made a continuous screenshot instead and set some filters on the search. you can see some of the specs underneath the names of the products.
will that be sufficient?

Lenovo Thinkpad T580  seems fien yes. I won't be gaming much on it (got a tower for that).
batterylife is kinda important, but as long as it has atleast a few hours it's gona be fine. display is not that important.
thank you very much for your time and efforts xD
