i don't think so, but when they do a giveaway the chance of winning is always practically 0 since thousands of people join.

not that that's a bad thing, just saying you shouldn't rely on them to get a new pc :P

The chance or winning is much greater than zero if you enter more than one giveaway. I thought the same until I actually started winning stuff. PS4, cable mods cables, The Witcher, pebble smart watch, Beats pill, and so on

Local, local, local. For this kind of thing you want to look local, because PC parts (CPUs/RAM excluded) are heavy and bulky, and if still useable and not obsolete are expensive.

 

Much better to post your country, budget and existing spec/parts. Then we can advise on second hand or throw outs to look out for (though IMO old PCs being thrown out are harder to come by, and most take to dump/recycle where no pickups allowed :( but then again, I'm in the middle of nowhere).

There's websites for Quebec-only giveaways, but yeah tech ones are rare. Use to do it successfully part-time.

You are right, but also wrong. I never enter stuff where you are one amongst a million - you wont win, never ever (ok maybe once). And thats fine.

However, people always think like that, and sometimes the chances are WAY better: I even won some writing contests because I saw the competition was small, and quite frankly, not that good. 

And there are so many contests/giveaways that are small and ppl dont see, these are the ones worth looking for. If the only ones you enter are the big ones, you can enter 100 in a month and will get nothing. If you enter in the small ones, you can find yourself winning some stuff within a few months.

 

 

Ultra is stupid. ALWAYS.

Well thats true :P

But most people will waste money playing, not win. And personally, for me thats just a fantasy that can become unhealthy (people actually play all the time and believe they will win someday, its kinda like believing a miracle will save you someday).

Anyway, if its just giveaways, sure, enter all of them. No harm. Just search for the ones you might actually win, as they are more worth of your time.
