Hey guys was just wondering if the price of the price of the Intel I7 - 7700k would drop within the next two weeks

Intel is not really known for good price drops on older chips.

I'm using a 4770k with a 1070 you are perfectly fine.

Not likely. If you're needing to get one for cheaper, try Microcenter if you have one near you. They usually have pretty decent discounts on CPUs.

 

Edit: Don't bother upgrading unless you specifically need the extra threads. For something like gaming, you're perfectly fine with the 6600K, even with a GTX 1070.
