LAPTOP WITH VERY DESCENT SPECS AND DON'T PUT HOLE IN MY POCKET :D

hELLO PEoPLe !!!

I am looking for a laptop and I kinda have reached hypersaturation of unsatisfaction (forgive my english).

There is so many to choose from but they miss out something very important every time.

Then there comes custom building __ but I need help lot of things to take care off...

And I am Beginning my Req..( doubts will be added in subsequent requirements)

1. The Screen - Preffered UHD/1440p monitor satisfied with 1080p also.....

musts - a 144hz rr or 120min and low latency... color accuracy of min 97% and anti glare panel (must,i hate reflections)....

keep in mind (least important.) - touchscreen ( yes or no - taking suggestion. coz i am planning to use it for productivity too), sleek design .A GOOD SWIVEL ANGEL....

2. MIND(processor) - yours too chose.

Must - Productivity (video editing)  wise smooth scrubbing at 720p and real time smooth playback at UHD/1440p. ( export time not much imp.) (not planning 4k ever)

3. SOUL (GPU) - yours again..

Must - a min of 60fps on very high or high end gaming never planning on ultra. Keep my productivity requirement in mind.

                            VR...... let's see.

4. RAM as per required for very goood performance ( the level behind ultra )

5. Temperature management - fine with using a cooling pad-- but a good in and out air flow design required.

6. Storage. doubts...... does gaming on Nvme drives make difference ? does video editing nvme drives make difference ? ( from SSD) however..  I want a Nvme m.2 drive for boot :D capacity                                                        will be decide on the answering of below questions..

                                    -  coz i dont wanna eat up alot space for my drives. i am fine with using external drives.

                                     - again Using a external SSD using e sata port for gaming make difference ? (from usb 3.0 or greater.) ( this will decide my I/O port requirements)

                                     - the same for video editing.

                                     - suggestion on thunderbolt supported drives

Fill me with more Information or links regarding storage, their performance level, and using it via different input ports.

7. MUST min. of 4 USB 3.0 or better. thunderbolt both 2 and 3 . a usb-c type AUDIO IN AND OUT (5.1 OUT MAYBEEE ?) ETHERNET, HDMI (X2 MAYBEEEE DEPENDS ON GPU)

AND ESATAAAA PORTT like 1 MINIMUM ?? (2 PREF.)  Sd card SLOT.

BTW USB 3.0 AND HIGHER are they backward supported ?

8.RGB lightingg. lets does it put a hole in my pocket yet.

9. Battery Life.. A Min of 2 hr of peformance at High end. (6-8 at average work load like word proccesing...)

i am planning to carry extra battery.

keyboard and touchpad.. choose a good one with backlit/ RGB.

Wireless _ WIFI and Bluetooth MUST.

I prefeer a Good Built in speaker but ready to ditch it for space. <3

I FEEL like i am asking for a custom MotherBoard bleh.. but help me out..

and I Totally LoVe your YoutuBe cHannel Thats All I Watch all DaY  EVERy day.

just a lil jealous of all the stuff you get xD

Is this a joke? You want an inexpensive laptop that can play games at 60+ fps on high settings, do video rendering, and has 4 USB 3.0 ports, ESATA, AND thunderbolt 3? That's asking way too much out of a cheap laptop, I don't even think such a thing exists. You need to lower your expectations in some areas, whether it be less performance, less IO, or a higher price. What is your budget here? I'm hoping not putting a hole in your pocket is about $3000 USD with these requirements. I'd be glad to help you pick a laptop but you need to have more realistic expectations.

My main computer:

i7 6700k || GTX 1070 || Asus Z170 RGB || C.M. Hyper 212 EVO || 16GB RAM || 256GB NVMe SSD || 500GB SATA SSD || 12TB total HDD || Define R5 Blackout || 850W PSU

More Details Below :)

Spoiler

CPU: Intel Core i7 6700k                             GPU:  EVGA GTX 1070 FTW                                  |  Motherboard: Asus Z170 Pro Gaming Aura
CPU Cooler: C.M. Hyper 212 EVO             RAM: 16GB Kingston Fury 4x4 DDR4 2400MHz         SSD:  Intel 256GB NVMe SSD & Plextor 500GB SATA SSD

Hard Drive:  WD 2TB Black, 2TB WD Blue, 8TB WD Red     Case:  Fractal Design Define R5 Blackout Edition   PSU:  Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 850W

First things first: What's your budget?

And what are you mainly using the laptop for?

Because I think that you have set your expectations waaaaaaaaaaaay too high on this one.

You start the topic by saying "VERY DESCENT SPECS" and "DON'T PUT HOLE IN MY POCKET"

That really doesn't narrow it down.

What you are looking for is Way above "Decent" and also " Not putting a hole in your pocket"

Must have 144 Refresh Rate? Why is that a Must.

" Must play games on Very High, On 60FPS" ?????? What is the point of the 144hz monitor?

4 USB ports? Why tho. (Most laptops have near that, Shouldn't be a must tho, It would be cool to know what 4 thigs you need Pluged in 24/7)

RGB lighting wont break the bank, All ur other NEEDS well.

And finally It came to this last one that you wont EVER get in the Laptop you are looking for.

"Battery Life.. A Min of 2 hr of peformance at High end" , If you mean Gaming, At High, That is cutting it close.

"6-8 at average work load like word proccesing." You wont ever get this on what you want as a laptop

From what it looks like you are building this for gaming, Build A full PC it well last longer and perform better.

Or. Do everyone a favor and fill this out.

I am not looking for cheap laptop as such. A 3000 USD is a max though. ( a hundred or 2 more)
And I really don't know how the pricing works... coz i have failed to update myself regarding it for sometime now.

See ESATA is must a coz I kinda have external drives always.. and I also think it performs better in it than a USB 3.0 or higher..
I am not genius as such. But please I'll be glad if you could help me out and tell what more realastic expectations..

cough cough

I am glad you kinda took the effort to Read all of it.
1. I mean a gpu that can give around 60fps while gaming in high setting. like not ultra high setting.

2. okay.. the thing is a 120 or 144hz rr monitor gives me a smoother gameplay even if my frame drops around 10%... how it works is if the game is 60fps. on 120hz monitor.. it basically recycle the image produced x2 times. reducing blurriness...things like that.
Just telling why need.. I really like that feature.
3. 1. i'll always have external mouse. and some optical device. a scanner or CD/bluray drive.... ill always have peripheral plugged in and you always need 1 free...

4. I don't much about Battery capacity either. but let me put it simple..5-6 hours simple workload ? does that easy things.

Am really sorry I donot have much idea how certain things affect the other.. but I'll be glad if you could help me out.

and I need a Laptop.. I could have not come here and done the research myself.. but I like time and have lot of issues.. that's why.

Location:  UAE

Budget: 3000USD

Usage / Gaming / School - GAMING AND PRODUCTIVITY

Battery Life: AN Avg battery life for simple workload. ( i'll be gaming and doing prod. plugged in.)

CPU: choose

GPU: choose

Weight/ potability: Not that bulk.

Screen Size: 15.6

Screen TN / ISP: I think IPS is really pref.
