First pic of next gen NVIDIA card leaked!

NVIDIA-GeForce-Next-Gen-Prototype-Board.

Finally the first pic of nvidias next gen prototype board has been spotted!

A couple of specs can be seen already

Quote
  • 12 GB GDDR6 Memory
  • 384-bit Memory Bus Interface
  • Three 8 Pin Power Connectors
  • One 2nd Gen NVLINK Connector

Other than that we can't say much unfortunately but it's nice to finally have something to look at imo...

So Nvidia actually is working on something and not just waiting for amd to catch up :P

Source is wccftech so yea this might as well be some crap someone pulled out of a dumpster lol

Is this the actual pcb layout that will be used to the next gen cards? who knows!

It looks much more like a test board and might as well be considering the beefy power supply and vrm cooling.

In other news, we might see new cards in september:

3 8 pin connectors what the fuck you going to use this for?

It's an engineering sample.

Remember Vega with USB?

I'm also sure that these 4-fans won't be on an actual product....unless NVIDIA went back to 3DFX Voodoo 5 6000 times.

who cares about specs WHERE THE MOTHA FUCKIN RGB

but being serious I see like no way that being a consumer card that or its gonna take a small loan of a million dollars to get one.

I promise the final card won't need the 3 8 pin power slots. That's just an engineering sample and you'd rather have too much than too little. Everyone has been very comfortable with like a 200w max for the xx80 cards and people associate Nvidia with efficiency. They won't go and release a 350w card when AMD has brought nothing to the table.

That's an F in the profile pic

Not sure if that gutted case is bolted to the table so the card doesn't flip with the other componentsxD
