AMD tells 8086K Winners to trade in CPU for TR 1950X

From a practical perspective , this really means nothing . It'll only work for the first 40 people , AND you need to have won your 8086k at the Intel sweepstakes.

But from a marketing perspective , this is the most shade thrown i've ever seen xD

AMD Ryzen R7 1700 (3.8ghz) w/ NH-D14, EVGA RTX 2080 XC (stock), 4*4GB DDR4 3000MT/s RAM, Gigabyte AB350-Gaming-3 MB, CX750M PSU, 1.5TB SDD + 7TB HDD, Phanteks enthoo pro case

I don't even think I'd sell the Threadripper in this case. I'd keep it.

I used an i7-980X from 2010 to 2017. The 980X was the i9-7980XE or TR 1950X of 2010. And that lasted me seven years. I think I'd be okay with a CPU that will, for every workload you could think of, last well into the 2020s.

Current Build:

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X3D

GPU: RTX 3080 Ti FE

RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z CL16 3200 MHz

Mobo: Asus Tuf X570 Plus Wifi

CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X53

PSU: EVGA G6 Supernova 850

Case: NZXT S340 Elite

Current Laptop:

Model: Asus ROG Zephyrus G14

CPU: Ryzen 9 5900HS

GPU: RTX 3060

RAM: 16GB @3200 MHz

Old PC:

CPU: Intel i7 8700K @4.9 GHz/1.315v

RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z CL16 3200 MHz

Mobo: Asus Prime Z370-A

AMD ask the first 40 winners to send in their unopened 8086K. Then they melt them down, made a very special 1950x, and sent it as a gift to Intel. Along with it, is a card that reads, "Intel Inside".

Update: Intel responded

Tear them apart and analyse what intel does, maybe? If thats the case, thats really shady.

Due to the cross patent agreement, and the US patent system in general, AMD already knows anything useful. AMD already knew before Coffeelake.

After all, Coffee (and Kaby) are just node refinements of Skylake, which is just an optimization of Broadwell, which was just a die shrink of Haswell. The only real deviation is Skylake X/SP, which uses a Mesh bus instead of a ring bus.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.
