Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew of any shops similar to Free Geek but in Central Scotland, or at least what sorts of things to search for to see if anything similar exists.

There are some thrift shops that have an electronics department, but usually those thrift shops are owned/managed by people that don't know anything about electronics and thus Donny participate in that sort of business.

 

I have come across a couple of thrift stores nowadays that do have an personal computer selection that feels similar to freegeek.

This: there's a lot of trash with some jems people don't know about sitting in them. Like Model Ms and the like. Most relevant hardware looks new enough that people will try to do something with it though
