So I am used to a 5.5 inch screen like iPhone 6 Plus, will the 4 inch screen of the iPhone SE be too small for me?

It will feel weird for the first few days or even weeks, but you'll get used to it. Though it really depends on what you use your device for. Media consumption? It's a definite step down. But for just messaging and communications? It'll be fine.

That's going to be a tad small then. You're going from the Plus model all the way to what's essentially the size of an iPhone 4 but longer. You're going to be missing out on detail, the 6 Plus is 1080P while the SE is only ~720P, which I would say is not good enough for today's HD content.

it's a quite significant drop tho to go from 5.5 to a 4 inch screen, i guess it will be small for today's standard especially if you have used a thin bezel phone for a period (not the 6 +)

I went from an SE sized screen to my Nexus 6P with its 5.7 inch screen. My Iphone 5S was unusable after that. Felt like a toy in my hand. I think coming from your large screen size you'll feel the same.
