Can you put up a photo or screenshot of the OS build number?

Go to: Settings/System/About Phone and scroll to bottom

sorry i actually gave up and sold the phone, stating the problem with it and just got a new one so i can't

i had a samsung galaxy s6 (bought about 2 years ago from the samsung website and came unlocked) but after factory resetting it because of a bootloop, it wont detect my bt sim card and has some vodaphone default apps on it

any ideas on how to fix this or why it happened

Go to phone settings > About Phone > Model

What model is it? Knowing the Android version might help but the model is more important

sm-g920f android 7.0

flashing may work but also runs the risk of making the device a paper weight

Flash the UK (BTU) firmware from here

tried that just gets stuck in a boot loop for about an hour until it finally boots into some foreign language version of android

Alright but rip the poor guy who bought a bricked phone

i mean it wasnt bricked, it just couldnt use a sim card (even a vodaphone one even though that is what it was locked to) it could still use apps though
