Should i buy 4k monitor for gaming?

5b099141df067_images(9).jpeg.4f37aa2793ba8ee0d89109516cd61301.jpeg5b0991bb4f473_images(10).jpeg.ad94f62f18d6e23d826d1c4ffce58187.jpegShould i buy upcoming gaming 4k monitor or Ultrawide curved monitor. ?

Asus Rog Swift PG27UQ it's have IPS panel, HDR , G-Sync ,Quantum dot technology , 144Hz refresh rate, so on.

Should i buy it?

Or should i wait for PG35VQ it's have VA panel , HDR, G-Sync , Quantum dot technology , 200 refresh rate.

But most powerful gpu 1080 Ti can't push more than 60 fps in 4k monitor based on games.

Can HDR still work when i downscale the resolution 4k to 1440p or 1080p ?

Note: ( I will do it when my gpu can't handle demanding games so i can have more fps. It's not like i can change my gpu or whole PC every 1 or 2 years like other rich peoples. )

And is that blurry noticeable?

People said it's not looks like native 1440p or 1080p.

How gaming 1440p and 1080p on a 4k looks like?

And is gaming in ultrawide curve monitor looks and feel like curve? I mean Is it uncomfortable?

1080p on my 1440p looks like an utter garbage. I would assume that 1440p looks as bad on 4k.

And you can push 100+ FPS on 4k with 1080ti, you just need to lower the settings to High instead of Ultra. Many games can run pretty well at 4k.

No, you should always aim at a 3440x1440p ultrawide for the ultimate gaming experience, from getting a simple nothing fancy one all the way to 120hz g-sync stuff, the immersion, image quality, over all aesthetic all is stupidly more value for money there as you get 21:9 aspect ratio with actual more virtual space.

With a 4k all you get is the same as you'd get with a 2560x1440p but with supler sampling... so a more clean image/higher pixel density sure but as Windows scaling goes the very same virtual space.

Whats the current GPU/CPU upgrade path? Those 2nd gen CPUs are incredibly old, so they will bottleneck your future card. No point in spending so much on a monitor. Get a mainstream PC with a 1440p monitor.

Jokes aside, if youre getting a PC like that its overkill. Youre never going to use 32gb of ram, and this PC wont cost anywhere near 3k. Trying to force yourself to use up all the budget is pointless, as within 5 years this PC will have the performance of a low end PC
