Where the best store to buy an under $500 everyday laptop?

Hello, I'm currently using a $200 laptop from pawn shop I bought two months ago the speed is fast, but I'm thinking of buying a new laptop but I only have $500 budget. Which one of this laptop I found online the best option for an everyday use laptop?

Will any of these be perfect for everyday home use, better than my current laptop or Am I better getting a desktop? Where is the best place to buy a cheap good everyday computer?  Amazon, Bestbuy, Staples or another store? Thanks in advanced!

Personally at this price range I would just get a used laptop where you swap out the SSD or just building a R3 2200G system with a cheap monitor.

Thank you for the reply, I found a $400 HP laptop on our nearby pawn shop. Should I just buy that one?

Nope, I'm willing to buy a desktop it just I thought it would be more expensive because I found a good desktop and the cost is $650 and plus $150 monitor which will be above my budget. I think according to all the reply I will just save my money and just stick with my pawn shop laptop.

desktops will typically give more performance per dollar.  Adding in a keyboard mouse and monitor does make it tough, most people have that stuff to start.  I would consider a desktop though

Then you could just go for an R3 2200G or R5 2400G desktop

 

Includes a 1080p 75Hz display with free-sync over HDMI looks like, though it is TN.

motherboard may needs a bios update. Maybe spend the rest of the budget on the R5 2400G and add an SSD later.

I figure that you aren't entirely experienced with computers due to your purchase history and verbiage.

 

Building a computer can be tough but one of the biggest hurdles is getting the right parts. and @Streetguru did that for you.  Still there is a lot to encounter so I would watch a lot of video's about building a computer and get a lot of advice through the process.  You could get a $20 game off steam called pc building simulator and it will give you a basic idea of what it takes to build a computer.  It's not perfect but for someone that hasn't done it before it would be useful.

Better off just pulling apart and putting back together a computer from somewhere

The laptop I'm using has fast browsing speed, but the display looks a little bad compared to my Ipad and my 11 years old All in one Pc, Also the battery doesn't last long only 3 hours use time and the keyboard is missing a couple keys. Also, all this problem are basic, I could work it out buy a USB keyboard and adjust screen brightness. I think I will just save my money and save up more then buy a new computer when there's a holiday like memorial day when electronic goes on sales hoping I could find a better low budget laptop. I'm looking for a computer for browsing the internet, doing school works and having multiple tabs open while downloading a couple program. I no longer play video games on my computer.
