PI steam machine.

FreeFallingGaming

So im by no means a computer master, The most i know about computers is running teamspeak server and game servers.

But i have an idea, What if someone took ahold of the steam OS and used the game streaming software from your giant gaming right, and streamed it to a raspberry PI, I dont know if it would work, but i think if it would work it would be the best thing since sliced bread. I thought this would be good to talk about seen as the supposedly Raspberry PI can run crysis.

If your asking if the Pi could have SteamOS on it to stream games from your main rig, it all depends on if the OS is ported to work with the ARM architecture that it runs on, currently no.

If there was a port? Possibly , I use my Pi to stream 1080p video over the network and it works nicely on an ethernet connection, and on most videos with wireless.

This would not work because it is written for a different CPU architecture and you need a UEFI ready MoBo.  I know it sucks, I thought of it too.  :(
