Posted April 23, 2018 LAST NIGHT I TRIED TO DELIDDING A 2700X. FIRSTLY I CUT OFF THE GLUE FRM THE EDGES... I KNEW THAT THE IHS IS SOLDERED TO THE DIE.. I BAKED IT IN A OVEN AT 180 DEGREE CELSIUS FOR ABOUT 10-15 MINS.. AFTER THAT I TIGHTENED IN THE DELID TOOL...ND WALLAH....I HD SUCCESSFULLY DELIDDED A RYZEN 7 2700X.. AFTER THAT I CLEANED THE INDIUM SOLDER RESIDUE....ND APPLIED A FRESH LAYER OF LIQUID METAL... TEMPS WERE ACTUALLY BETTER AFTER DELIDDING.... I'll HV to send this chip to one of my frnds....he is a professional delidder...
