I messed up buying a chinese card, need advice.

So I ordered a cheap chinese gtx 1050 ti, for 75ish dollars on ebay, but after some days I realized that maybe it wasn't a good idea, and it might not be a legit card.

I think it's just fake because there's nothing like a generic/brandless nvidia card, but i'm not really sure.
I ordered it on monday, and the shipping status says that it has been sent, do you think I still have chance to cancel the order, if not, do you think I will be able to return it. I ask because its the firs time I buy on ebay.
Here's the link:https://www.ebay.com/itm/GTX1050Ti-650Ti-730-65-1-2-4GB-DDR5-128Bit-HDMI-Graphics-Card-for-NVIDIA-GeForce/372261543840?hash=item56ac845fa0%3Am%3AmzcxcfjBV4r9MirmMa3ugGg

P.S.(Yeah, I'm just poor, and wanted to save some bucks :/)

Probably too late to cancel. When you receive it, run gpu-z and identify the card that way. If it isn’t as advertised, I hope you paid with PayPal

Fake, stay away from this product, there is know way that a 1050ti is for 45 dollars!

It’s isnt $45, there’s options for the cards, I think it’s like a 650 that’s $45, if you scroll the pictures you can see the different cards and their price

In a time of Bit coin mining a card for this price can't be trusted. But ebay should help you get your money back in case of a fake product. Also the seller cares about his reputation.

Fake. DO NOT buy a Graphics card from Ebay IMO unless its from a reputable vendor such as Newegg. (Yes they have an Ebay store they sell on as well). Most of the GPUs on there that are advertised as something and not is because they flash the BIOS to trick it all into being that. When you get the card, easiest way to tell is take the cooler off and look at the DIE. It will have a core number on it, its likely a GTX 650ti or 750ti flashed to a 1050ti.

@iamdarkyoshi and many others have been buying these GPUs and refunding them, eBay always sides with the buyer

tbh the 650 and 650ti looks real statistically. What's really wrong is the 730 and 1050ti.

GTX1050Ti 4GB
Chip type:nVIDIA
Memory bandwidth:128bit
Video meoemry type:DDR5
Video memory:4G
Model:GTX1050Ti

The clock speeds are all lower than reference (I've seen factory overclocks, but not factory underclocks).

1050ti should never have VGA

1050ti can use PCIe 3.0

1050ti supports DX12

1050ti draws 75w power

I can't find these faults with the 600 series cards though. Still likely a fake, but not as 'fake'.

I can confirm so far that the GTX 650 as well 750Ti 2GB cards without SLI bridges are legit. Nothing else yet though.

Isn't it only the unbranded listings/zero feedback sellers to watch out for? There are still lots of users who sell (higher than MSRP) genuine cards. Not to mention used cards which are almost all genuine.

When the fake arrives, just make a claim to get your money back.  If you're lucky they might even let you keep the card too.

You'll definitely be able to get your money back if it's fake through PayPal. And as Ryan Vickers said you might be able to keep card

Don't buy Chinese products from ebay, get them from TaoBao/Tmall/banggod, they have a better trust system.

need advice

learn from this mistake and dont do it again.

it's like there's an echo in here, but  when you get the card. open a dispute with paypal/ebay saying you didn't get what you paid for and you'll get your money back and maybe keep card etc etc

It's honestly hard to tell what you get when you order one as you'll see in the video post below. It rarely is the card you order at the very least. And sometimes they reroot the card to say it is, but they will have less memory and your pc will think it has more and try to load more textures thus crashing your pc. example being trying to use the 4 gigs it says it has when it only has 1gb. Buyer BEWARE
