If you have a complaint, concern or question about any moderator action that has been taken against you, please send a PM to me, @Whiskers and/or the moderator in question, and we will gladly discuss it. All complaints about moderation that I have been made aware of have either been completely unfounded or the result of misunderstandings or miscommunication, but if there was a case of moderator abuse then we would consider that to be a serious problem, and deal with it accordingly.   C

I just thought of something, what happens if someone admits to breaking the rules in the past and a mod never noticed?

I did that multiple times in the past already and I’m still here. Granted those were the time I was fairly new member with very strong opinions (I’ve mellowed down a lot) and the CS weren’t strictly implemented but everything changed in January 2017 and the CS was amended, @Ryan_Vickers and @wkdpaul knows. xD

 

If you try going back threads from 2016 and earlier, you’ll see topics and posts with 100+ replies that are now prohibited.

Rules don't apply retroactively.  IE, if you do something that at the time is perfectly allowed but later we add a rule against that, you're not going to get warned for what you did before, that would just be silly.

 

As for having done something that was prohibited at the time but no one noticed, and then it gets discovered later through one means or another, it depends how severe it is, and perhaps more importantly if it's "ongoing".  If it was a one time thing like a post that wasn't allowed, unless it was quite bad like porn or piracy, probably nothing will be done about it.  If it's an "ongoing" thing, like it's discovered an account is an alt of a previously banned one, it doesn't matter how long they've been going for, there is no lenience for that whatsoever.

Generally, yeah. Im a proud owner of a 1500 euro gaming pc. But also of a couple consoles. I think consoles are good at what they do, but a pc is better
