Let's see, you could do it if you spent hundreds of thousands of dollars designing a custom laptop motherboard, then spend another, equally insane amount on a custom cooling system.

Nearly every laptop processor is soldered to the board these days. It can't be upgraded.

 

Also, the i9-7980XE consumes more power by itself than your entire laptop does. You won't be seeing processors like that in laptops for a very long time.

Of course you can. Sell the laptop, add another $2000, then buy the 7980XE, an X299 mobo (preferably the most expensive one), some DDR4 DIMM, a 1000W PSU, an E-ATX case, and SSDs

No. For one the the blade has a soldered cpu, it cannot be removed. It has no socket to put a 7980xe in either. And even if you could, no laptop on earth has enough cooling or power delivery for the i9, let alone an thin and light
