Definitely agree, I think Battle Royale is so stupid and boring (YES, I tried both games!!!). But, Fortnite is far superior to PUBG. Runs better, looks prettier, and most importantly, it's just more fun. And it's free on top of all that!

Unless you're playing on a complete potato, Pubg doesnt run like shit anymore. People saying Fortnite is optimized dont understand how graphics in video games work. The reason Fortnite runs better is because it's significantly less demanding, not because it's better optimized.

 

I wonder which of these two pine trees are harder to render?

I play both, but I play PUBG significantly more than Fortnite.  Fortnite has true ultrawide support, unlike PUBG, but I still prefer PUBG's style of play. I get pissed at the amount of hackers in that game though; it's mainly bullshit like being in the final five and having seriously good weaponry and some dude shoots you through a mountain with an M249. It happens less often than what it used to be, but it still happens way too often to be acceptable.

Coming from experience that will never be solved in any game. I have yet to encounter a game that I can't break. Games that run anti cheats are usually easier to brake then more simpler creative methods that no one really expects.

(I don't ruin other people's experiences I just enjoy assembly language and reverse engineering software for the problem solving aspects to see if it can be done. I never use or distribute my hacks. Unless its a nexon game then everything goes.)

Yes it is still free. It's not pay to win so it is still free as you don't feel any obligation to buy them.

Well yeah expected eventually. Runs better performance and netcode wise, also it's free which is a big deal. 

These games really became popular due to streamers very fast. 

Personally they bore me to death.

Many people hate on PUBG because of what Bluehole has or hasn't done. Letting a flood of Chinese hackers come onto EU and NA servers is absolutely unacceptable. Banning people from your game because a streamer whines is unacceptable. Can you start to see why people don't want to play this game anymore? Epic Games hasn't really pulled any dumb stunts besides making loot boxes but that's fine as long as Fortinite doesn't become P2W and remains free.

I dislike both, but I give my hat to Fortnite, for the fact that it at least introduces something new with its building mechanic. PUBG is just like every other battle royal game like ARMA or whatever.

Not sure where I stand here, as I play both PUBG and Fortnite.

 

I do tend to play Fortnite more than PUBG mostly because none of my friends have PUBG, and playing with friends makes the experience a lot better.

 

Both games have their pros and cons when compared to each other, in some ways I prefer PUBG in that not everything is breakable which adds to the strategy of the game since you have to work around people's cover instead of just shooting through it. I feel the gameplay of Fortnite is a little bit better, but that could just be me.

My personal opinion is that Fortnite is the better game. It runs better than PUBG even after they supposedly fixed the piss poor optimization. Fortnite also manages to handle the F2P model in just the right way.
