So if I add a graphics card in the future will it run WITH the integrated graphics in the cpu?

It will essentially disable the integrated graphics.

You can either go to a local store (not a chain one) and negotiate a price for them to update your BIOS, or use the AMD program where they temporarily send you a CPU.

So this is going to be my new computer in 2-3 days. Never had any type of gaming-computer before. For the last 10 years I've been GAMING lol... Minecraft & CSGO on an intel 660 with 32 mb of integrated graphics.... lol. What should I expect with a 4gb card? Also I wasnt 100% sure of the compatability between the GT 730 and the B350M PRO VH-PLUS because the ram on the 730 is ddr3, Would that cause a problem? Tips? upgrade oppertunitys/recomendations? Thanks for the feedback!

Why dont you buy 2400G cpu?

same graphics as GT-1030 graphics card, but its built into the cpu, means you can spend $180 on that cpu.

also up your ram frequency to atleast 2600 but better to go 3000

value psu is the Corsair CXM not the CX

or Masterwatt

Hell no, GT 730s are terrible. Buy a Ryzen 2400G. It's an integrated GPU that's way stronger than the 730 (a bit over the 1030).

That should also save you around $30 which you can spend on a 240-250GB SSD.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

4/10

  • GPU is borderline useless
  • Ryzen likes faster memory

Would have been a 3/10 but I appreciate the inclusion of the SSD.

Was looking to Overclock the 1200 to the 1300x spec and leave room for upgradeability with a new graphics card in the future.

You can still upgrade to a better GPU if you buy a Ryzen 2400G.

And it's got SMT - so 4 Cores / 8 Threads instead of 4/4 on the Ryzen 3 parts.

Is there a gpu that is going to have similar 4gb performance at around the same price?

Yup, you really should have!

If you bought from Amazon / Newegg there's a chance you can still cancel the orders. Hopefully you can.

Otherwise you can return stuff.

Nope, every graphics card that's any good is sold out or costs 2X what it used to.

Also "4GB performance" isn't a thing. In fact, the 4GB GT 730 is actually so bad, it can't play games that a lot of cards with 1GB VRAM can. You really should return this GT 730. More RAM is NOT better.

Still, I'd say 550W for future upgrades!

You can run a system with an 8700K and GTX 1080 with 450W today. You even have enough room to overclock if you don't mind the PSU fan getting a bit loud. The additional 100W is a lot less than you think it is.

I hate to make you feel bad, but at the same time it's better to be honest. Even if you have to pay for shipping (which I'm sure you will), send those parts back. As much as the cost and work sucks, you'll be far happier in the long run.

The 2400G APU is a good choice until graphics card prices drop.
