Electroneum Discussion [Now accepts ALL MINERS!]

Hey guys! I have started mining electroneum on SpacePools, what pools do you use and how are you doing on mining?:D

This is now officially a discussion for all miners of all coins, e.g. dogecoin...

Post whatever you want relevant to the discussion, including how good you are doing, how much of that coin you have (i swear not to steal it ) and your hashing powa!!!!

Used to be everywhere in LTT forums, had a break which lasted apparently 1 year LOL.

Gonna get up againnnn.

Wake me up if I sleep again like Oppy.

Nanopool works fine for me, sure you've got the config files right?

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it. :P

Yeah, that's the problem, whatever I do I cant seem to make it right. Can you paste your config file (without any names or addresses) so I an see if it will work? I mine on my CPU (its decent at 300hs).

I use spacepools for my etn mining since it has vardiff compared to the static diff on nanopool. As for miner, I use xmr-stak and it works well, but I'm on nvidia so yeah.

It is but you can mine it using GPUs apparently because it is based on monero and there are also pools out there for electroneum.

Nanopool has a payout system in palce where once you mine 500 (or 100 etn is registered) they send them through, meanwhile they hold them.. Is this common? Does Spacepools do this?

It's called a threshold and yes it is. Spacepool's threshold is 10 ETN last I used it.

Ooh, spacepooles have updated to allow the user to change the threshold from a min on 1 ETN to 1000 ETN.

Be careful with this. They allow anyone with the wallet address to update the threshold which is pretty insecure. Was hoping they would do a system like nanopool where they ask us to put our email in the username to allow us to change the payout limit or even ask us our public ip address to change the limit like flypool does.

Since launch i have gotten 4.36 etn, note that i dont mine 24 7 with my phone. Phone is s6, 34h/s is the hashrate.

NB! It actually doesnt mine, it is a simulation. So it doesnt use that much battery at all. It is more of a timed airdrop.

Are you sure of this? Have you tried other miners, some work.

I mean that the official miner techicially doesnt mine, it is just a timed airdrop. It does a quick benchmark to see your phones actual hash number, and then it just gives you etn if you have the app open. You can read more about it in te app itself.

Can you withdraw this balance? This seems very profitable...
