Anyone else ever had successful whole room water cooling?

I know years ago linus did his whole office water cooling thing that worked good for his computers but horrible for room temps and I years later made a setup for my servers that will soon have my main pc connecting to it that works great and I wonder has anyone else had success in doing a whole home water cooling sorta thing? Or most people did not try?

@AntVenom did a great watercooling loop based on the whole room watercooling adventure. He piped the water down into the basement where he had the rads for cooling.

Yes, I have 20 gallons 125 feet of hose, and laughed my ass off at watching whole room watercooling :)  Mine has been going for ~5 years now.

You shouldn't attempt it if you don't approach it with unlimited time and money.

Workstation:  13700k @ 5.5Ghz || Gigabyte Z790 Ultra || MSI Gaming Trio 4090 Shunt || TeamGroup DDR5-7800 @ 7000 || Corsair AX1500i@240V || whole-house loop.

LANRig/GuestGamingBox: 9900nonK || Gigabyte Z390 Master || ASUS TUF 3090 650W shunt || Corsair SF600 || CPU+GPU watercooled 280 rad pull only || whole-house loop.

Server Router (Untangle): 13600k @ Stock || ASRock Z690 ITX || All 10Gbe || 2x8GB 3200 || PicoPSU 150W 24pin + AX1200i on CPU|| whole-house loop

Server Compute/Storage: 10850K @ 5.1Ghz || Gigabyte Z490 Ultra || EVGA FTW3 3090 1000W || LSI 9280i-24 port || 4TB Samsung 860 Evo, 5x10TB Seagate Enterprise Raid 6, 4x8TB Seagate Archive Backup ||  whole-house loop.

I did it very simply actually, luckily it works good. Glad others have done it though.

Difficulty depends on what your setup is planned to be.  If you're just trying to connect a bunch of computers together and have a local radiator then it's not much different from building a regular loop.  When you start dealing with gallons of liquid, remote radiators, etc then you get into more challenges as Linus found trying to get a radiator going on a roof.  Whole Room Watercooling could have been done a lot better but he went through it in a hurried way (a steel reservoir = what the fuck bruh) and they were moving out anyways so making it work wasn't so important as making an interesting video series.

My radiator is a quad 140mm with 8 fans.. it's outside on my roof and cools 2 server.. works great! Yes the metal res was a bad idea... he literally could have used a bucket
