Are you excited to see what laptops will come out with Intel chipsets and AMD graphics ?

So what do you think of a gaming laptop with 20 plus hours battery life ?

Or a laptop that's powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 with LTE connection ?

Or you prefer ARM-powered laptops instead ?

You need to have quotations from the source as well as discuss what the original media content is about. Give some insight such as opinions or facts that may bolster or counter their argument.

You're pretty far off. Not enough content at all. Look at any of the other news articles and look at how much content they have. Don't just tell me what model and leave it there. Start a conversation about the video and give us your feedback.

And don't worrya bout the n00b status. We all started from somewhere. Sometimes I wished I was a bit more on point with news, but it's hard because some of these guys are super quick! @AluminiumTech ... I swear he works at a Tech News channel. Put up what, like 5 in the past day!? Just take a look at some of his stuff, as well as others. Good guidelines for news content.

Do a quick synopsis of some of the PC's mentioned. Make/model, CPU/GPU, and some key features of its design. Then mention which ones you were impressed by and why. If you know anything about what lead to certain design features, awesome let us know.

 

Give us some feedback on your impressions of the Intel CPU with integrated AMD graphics. Then ask us if we agree or not, and why. The laptop with 20+ hours. Give us your thoughts on it. Do you think it'll be successful? Yes or no? Does it actually meet PC gaming enthusiast levels of expectations? The laptop with LTE is amazing. Why haven't we had this before? Linus mentioned something like this in the past about why his laptop cannot have a connection like other devices. what if it's lost? It would be easier to find if it was on the network. Also, data charges aren't the same now as they were in the 90s. So I think it could be way more feasible. And maybe go over what ARM laptops are available, and what they bring over some of the previous generations. It's CES. These things are supposed to impress.

 

Then you can also tell us some of the things you like/dislike about these and maybe mention a couple things that the Verge liked that you think are total flops. 5 sentences really doesn't do a good job at generating discussion and giving a news topic momentum. Bring this bad boy to life.

    No I don't. The thickness of a device is something I do not care about, I care about performance.

So what do you think of a gaming laptop with 20 plus hours battery life ?

   I do not need 20hrs. There is power outlets everywhere and I always have an extension cord in my laptop bag.

   No this is what tablets are for.

 

No need for 4g or 5g on laptops. we have wifi all over the country in Belgium.

No need for super thin laptops.. If you need one like those buy a Macbook.

No need for big battery only thing that a big battery gives is lower performance.

I am the converse. Thin light and battery  life are the critical features of a laptop for me, and things like 4k resolution and gaming performance are utterly irrelevant because they ruin battery life. That's not to say performance is irrelevant-- my laptop has a Kaby Lake Xeon and a Quadro. Those are necessary tools for my work and they fit in a small form factor laptop that is amazing for travel and working without outlets.

 

I use a laptop to get paid. I have a desktop to game on when the mood strikes. Very different set of requirements and needs, so I'm glad to see the market continue to offer svelte powerful machines instead of lumbering behemoths.

1. Not everyone wants to use public wifi

2. Some people want thin laptops and not use a crap OS. 

3. Most laptops are used for browsing or business work (word, internet, excel)

 

But guess we dont deserve these because YOU dont want them? Battery is great now and with coffee lake, performance is amazing for a laptop. Your logic blows my mind.

that is what a ultrabook should be, not a thin and light but 3 hours of battery bullshit laptop.

 

 

id like to see more laptops with MX150 instead of intel + amd together, or at least high end intel iris inside ultra shit CPUs

I like how the ARM laptops are looking, 20 hours and being able to play muh roguelikes are all I need from a laptop.

 

Maybe something more powerful would be required to cast my desktop, that's pretty important as well.
