I don't know. I don't think that even the late Carl Sagan or the astrophysiscist Neil deGrasse Tyson has an answer. The closest answers we have is that it all started with nuclear fusion where heavier elements can be made from lighter ones by fusing them and later on the universe starts expanding until now and we certainly have clues as to how life started when the planet Earth was young (primordial soup theory).

Religion is not the cause of most of the bloodshed, it is the vehicle people use to justify it though.  Mind you, money, land and resources are responsible for more wars/deaths than religion ever was.  I still maintain there are beautiful people in all walks of life and having met many first hand I would not wish to take away anything from them.

I never lost someone before so i didnt knew what its like.

I do however watched someone lose their loved ones.

Some of them are fine and move on.

Some of them goes nuts and end up in mental hospital maybe because they really really love them and not willing to let them go so maybe thats why they are diagnosed with mental breakdown.

And one of them pretend that they are fine but end up taking their own life.

Everyone is different, I have moved on.  But it's something you every forget or just get over.

Had something take up residence in my old home some 24 years ago.

It was a fairly newish property built on what was an old housing development which dated back to the mid 19th century.

 

It all started after I'd been in the house around 12 months.

One Saturday evening while soaking myself in the tub I heard the key in the front door, thinking it was my GF I called out but no reply.

Must have been hearing things so thought nothing more of it.

Only a month later while I was soaking myself in the tub again I heard a key in the door, then the internal door open, then the kitchen door open.

Again thinking it was my GF I called out, again no reply.

To cut a long story short whatever it was switched on lights, walked around upstairs while friends were over. turned a warm room cold, knocked my houseplants off the shelves, then had the cheek to manifest it's tall black self for a few seconds while I was making a coffee in the kitchen. Oddly enough I wasn't frightened and nothing happened after whatever it was had shown itself.

 

True story, take it as you will. Never experienced anything like it since.

I'd say most religion teach us a good things.

Its just the people who misunderstood,or say something bad about it but without having any knowledge about it or just liked to twist their teachings to gain something out of it or just want to watch the world burn.

I think the biggest mind f*** is the fact that the year is 2018 now... yet I've (sadly) been alive for more than 1/100'th of the "AD" calendar year....

 

There's so much knowledge that we have gained in such a short amount of time it's insane to comprehend, let alone the fact the universe has been around for plenty more years than 2018... (though some have different opinions on this matter)

 

Even more perspective, look at the nanotechnology we have accomplished in even my lifetime... ~26 years... and how HUGE hard drives used to be for less than 1Mb of storage... take a modern nvme ssd with 2Tb+ capacity and *pshhh* Mindblown.

Well, it might have been my mind playing tricks on me but, it was a memorable experience for sure.

So, when I was a kid, I saw my grandfather who I never got to meet because he passed away the day when I was born.

 

The story goes like this:

I was just swinging and, all of a sudden, he appeared in front of me smiling and greeting me.

I waved back at him and said hello as well I think he asked something but that I'm not sure about anymore. (I remember that we talked a tiny bit)

My parents who were outside too asked who I just talked to and I pointed at the spot saying that grandpa is here but, he wasn't there by the time I looked back.

 

According to my mother, he was very excited to see me but, unfortunately, that couldn't happen so I thought he might just wanted to at least meet me once.

 

It's weird because it made such a huge impact on me that most part I can still remember but everything else about that day is just blank.
