Getting alerts in sections that I'm not following

I'm getting random alerts that are from sections that I'm not even following which is really bothersome, I'm only following the Tech News and if a thread is moved from Tech News, I still get the alert, can we just delete the notification if the thread has been moved from tech news to > unfollowed section

I've reported this to IPS before, but unfortunately they don't seem to have taken much notice. I've re-suggested it, so there is a chance that it will be changed in a future update, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
