PC constant beep when playing gta V

Probably an overtemp warning or whatever. What are your temperatures like?

GPU temps?

what kind of beeping is it? is it coming from the same speaker as "beep" on PC startup?

Do You hear any pattern of beeping? like long, pause, long, pause, short etc.?

gpu temps are around 60 c aswell from memory, and it is just one constant beep, i am not sure where the beep is coming from tho. My guess is the speaker on the motherboard but i had the same problem with my other pc and i replaced everything but the graphics card so who knows.

Do you hear same beep while playing other games?

Maybe Your GPU is not getting eough power? It can give symptoms like constant beep.

What kind of GPU do You have? Check 6pin connectors (if you have them) if they are sitting properly in GPU sockets.

Also what kind of power supply are you using?

I have a gtx 1050 ti but it is the g1 gaming one so it has a 6 pin and the beep only occurs when i play gta v from memory

From memory? You mean when you use more VRAM than you have on your gpu?

First I would try to play GTA with other PSU connected - if you can, it would be great

I'd also check RAM memory with memtest

edit:// of course your psu is more than capable of handling 1050, but sometimes even the best hardware can fail

Did you OC your VRAM ? GTA V crashed constant when i did an OC  to my old cards memory it would crash randomly after a few minutes when it crashed the OS into blue screen(not all crashes) then sometimes i heared beeps short before. When i set GPU Memory Clock back to default it did run fine...

you hear that beep after cpu gets over 60?

I just thought that maybe you can check bios for setting where you set "temperature level for warning" maybe it's set too low and that's why you hear the beep

how many times should i run it

Generally I suppose few times would be okay, but just for checking purposes once should be okey (I think)

I'd also try to do 3 more things:

1. Install HWMonitor to constantly check temeratures

2. Run Prime95 (first test, maximum heat) to test CPU and see if beeping occurs when in HWMonitor temp passes 60 degrees

3. After that, I'd use Furmark (or any other, newer gpu benchmarking software) and also check with HWMonitor

If we can exclude RAM, GPU and CPU, then it will be PSU and too less power (maybe)
