Corsair released world's fastest DDR4 SODIMM Kit with speeds upto 4000 MHz

So, Corsair released a SODIMM DDR4 memory kit with speeds of up to 4000 MHz. It comes in QUAD channel memory kit for $595 USD.

I doubt if we can use this on laptops to achieve it's full speed because of XMP 2.0 profile. But only board ASRock X299E-ITX/ac supports speeds this far.

Probably some of the barebone kits from Gigabyte, MSI and Zotac could support this modules?

Corsair itself listed "ASRock X299E-ITX/ac" as the only board which is compatible with this memory.

Still Corsair site says "Designed for laptop and notebook PCs" lol

Anyway this is cool if you're planning to make use of this "4000MHz" speed in your ASRock X299E ITX/ac" system.

I can't find it either. If you find it later, report my post with the original link.

I wounder what would happen if you put this and could get them to run at this speed on a Ryzen+Vega mobile. I think just the fact that there's very few vega compute units would mean the chips would hit a wall at/near 3000mhz but it would still be interesting to see how much performance you could open up.

You would have to win the 0.0001% IMC lottery ticket to even approach 4000MHz.
