i5 2500k at 6.9 ghz at idle

hi I was messing with my CPU where I put the multiplier to 35 instead of the default 33 in an attempt to get a small overclock but now when i open task manager it shows 6.9 ghz max and it sits anywhere between 5.6-6.6 ghz

i tried to load optimized defaults but it diden't seem to fix anything

Motherboard is Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. Z68XP-UD3

Task manager is inaccurate, use CPU-Z or HW Monitor to monitor clock speeds ;)
