Is buying an Old Macbook Pro worth it?

No, this one isn't worth it. To make it viable, you'd have to get the SSD in, more ram and hope that the battery is somewhat decent. You're looking for more than 600USD end price, if you want this to be any sort of decent. Not to mention it fell on the ground hard multiple times and some internalt might have reduced lifespam because of that.Laptop probably doesn't even close properly..

A lot of people use Logic. A lot of music podcasts recommend/use it. Its a good DAW.

the only reason people use it is because it is 199.It's still good.Just not as good

Good is good. And that is good enough for a lot of people. 

 

If I'm not mistaken Logic can be interfaced with external programs that expand it a lot. I have heard about that on the podcasts my Dad listens to.

I'm not defending me, I don't own or use FinalCut nor Logic. 

 

I just like good computers and electronic devices no matter where they come from. Which of them I use is dependent on what I need and want.

If your doing stuff like music creation or stuff.mac's are the cheaper option.Which is why pepole buy them
