I actually work 3 days a week normally. My three days are Saturday, Sunday, Monday. If I do need to work an extra day it's on Friday. I prefer to work the weekends so that I don't have to deal with kids during the weekdays when I feel like going out to do my errands during the day time. During my 3 day work week I work 15 hours a day. Posted November 16, 2017 Whatever you do, have at least two days free in a town other than that, I personally would go for Saturday, Sunday and whatever other day (maybe not Monday or Friday though), just because usually most stuff goes on at weekends (friends being off school/work, etc), unless you work an office job in which the weekend days are a lot less crowded. Than I would do that, personally. Posted November 16, 2017 Same as you, with wednesday off. A straight 3 day off would throw my sleep schedule off. If I work too much, I end up napping too much. Posted November 16, 2017 It's popular among factory workers. Called the 4-10s shift or something. 4 Days 10 hours each 3 off. Another one is 2-2-3, which I've worked before. https://www.crewscheduler.com/help/Administration_Tab/Schedule_Setup/Rotations/Continuous_Shift_Coverage.htm surprising tiring. . Posted November 16, 2017 Optimal 4 day week for me is a long weekend (Friday - Sunday) as it optimises holiday entitlement at work. Most of the public holidays in the UK fall on a Monday and I get paid public holidays it makes sense to not be 'off' on those days. Posted November 18, 2017 My dad generally works 4 10 hour shifts a week. Some times he goes in on Fridays for some over time. Personally if it were me, Id like to have Sat, Sun, Mon. Because I hate Mondays. I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
