Why is Privacy.com requiring that I disable 2FA on my bank to add my debit card?

Everytime that I try to add my Wells Fargo account, it goes through the motions as though it supports 2FA, but after I put in the code they text me, it says that I need to just go ahead and disable it outright to be able to add the account. Is anyone else having this problem? I'd really like to use Privacy, but I'm not willing to lower my bank account's security just to do so.

And what do you do when privacy.com gets hacked with all your credit card and bank info on it?

Aye. For example I have a savings, chequings, and credit card with mine. Funds are very easily transferred between them.

Not terrible enough that leaks have actually happened. And even if one did, I'd still have 2FA on my bank account, so they wouldn't even be able to access it.

Privacy.com requires that I login with my WF account. AKA putting in my username and password.

So it's not connected to a sole account? Fuck that noise I wouldn't be using it. Why don't you just get a reloadable credit card?
