Small Tracking Gadget for Car

I had seen some trackers for kids, dogs etc. But, I want to know is there any small tracker that I can place into the car and see my car location on the map while shopping in the market. I want to eradicate the chances of car theft. If anyone can provide some sort of information then it can help me a lot. Thanks!

I know here in the U.S. we can get Lo-Jack in our cars. It came in my Dart and my Challenger. It costs about 15 USD a month. If my vehicle is stolen, its satellite tracked. If they can't recover it, Lo-Jack pays for the car.

Just a quick Google search and I got this: https://www.trackerdirect.co.uk/tracker-locate

 

I'm not an insurance expert but I believe there are services or insurance policies that put a tracker in your car so when you report it stolen the police can locate it, I'd talk to your insurance agency or do some research online.

There are services that offer GPS tracking as package. You can do it DYI, get transmitting unit with GPRS connection and setup receiver or use another service to track it.

Thanks for your recommendation. I would look for it. But, I don't want much advanced solution, but, only a small fidget spinner like tracker that I can place into the car and see my car location on map (with the help of integrated app).

Appreciate your reply. The tracker that you recommended is much expensive and I don't want to spend that much.
