Looking into a new mice and keyboard

Thinking off getting a new mechanical keyboard and new mouse. The mouse I am nearly set on is the g502 but open to suggestions mechanical keyboard I am staying away from razer. Not sure what keyboard to go for heard the corsair series is good k70 lux (200 euro where I live) or k95 again open to suggestions also thinking of getting a separate mic and mic arm not sure what to look at though as that's all new to me.

I know nothing about mechanical keyboards since I'm still looking to get a cheapo Tomoko one. But you staying away from Razer? I approve.

Personally I'd take a look at the G.Skill M780. Excellent keyboard for the money, and IMO it's better than the K70.

The G502 is a great mouse if you like lighter units. If you like mice with a little more heft and a slightly more "premium" build, I'd take a look at the Thermaltake Level10 M. Great design, feel, and the grippy coating doesn't wear off unlike every Logitech product I've owned.

 

Do you know what switch type you'd like to go for? If not I really suggest buying a tester if you're unable to try them in store.

I can recommend the Logitech G910 (Romer-G) or Corsair K95 (Cherry Browns, I think).

 

The G910 offers you more for your buck as you seem to be going for a G502.

I will have a look into those keyboards and mice thank you! Currently using a g510s and a razer Naga realized after like 2 returns and other stuff I should stay away from razer stuff.

G502 and a K70 or K95. Ever since I bought my G502, I've never had a better mouse for replacement as I have with keyboards. The shape, heft, and button placement just feels right on the G502.

Really just depends on your switch preference, and type of mouse, the 502 is generally on the heavy side at 100+ grams. if you like heavyweight mice its great.

i also had a naga hex. Staying away from razor as well. Currently have a g502 whichh is an amazing mouse.

Generally cherry MX are thought of as more premium. 

The 3 cherry most common kinds are blue, brown, and red.

Red is thought of as best for gaming. 45 grams of push. Linear Bump.

Blue is best for typing. 65 grams of push. Tactile Bump

Brown is a combo and is the quietest, my favorite, and the most popular. 45 grams of push. Tactile Bump

G910 = Nine macros plus three sets of them for each profile or program assignable via Logitech Gaming Software. Sits nicely with the G502 since everything can be assigned within LGS. Backlighting can be customized to your heart's content or with pre-sets as designed by Logitech (custom profiles are super easy, I can post pictures if you'd like). Macros can be anything from media keys (Play, Pause, volume up/down, etc.), text inputs ("Good morning, how are you?"), key presses and toggles (press A or Hold A), shortcuts (Ctrl + C), program execution (open Word or Chrome, for example), or complete multi-key functions (such as navigating menus without clicking, picture in spoiler). The G502 can be controlled in the same manner.

The switch just feels like rubber domes though.

Very much so. I wouldn't upgrade my KB/M until something better comes out from Logitech. I previously used G710 (Cherry Blue), K70 (Cherry Red), G105 (membrane).

I love my G502! It is light feeling but with all the weights it can have some heft. I came from the M310 to the G502 and I CAN NOT go back. The only thing that could make me change is a wireless G502 and a wireless keyboard.
