Look at 4k performance. I agree, bc I have a 980, but I use it for 1080p.

none, but my oculus stutters sometimes and 980 can barely do 4k

If your goal is 4k and using an oculus, then perhaps an upgrade would implied because you can still get a decent return on your 980. If you didn't game in 4k or us an oculus I would argue to wait. I ran my 290x all the way up until I was ready to upgrade to 1440p UW. Didn't see a reason if I was just gaming 1080p.

Thats not the point, last gens high end is on par with this gens mid-low range. Vega will last longer because it still has optimization

Exactly. He says that Vega preforms well in Forza 7 and Shadow of Wat because they are console optimized and consoles run of of amd

No actually, I totally forgot about the old guard games they have.  I was thinking moreof CS, gmod etc. And while I concede there are like 3 console rts it's not common, especially versus the plethora on PC.
