Best 900p card sub $150USD?

PokeCatz

Im looking for a card that can run almost every game at 900p 60fps stable. Specifically PUBG. Right now I have a 650ti paired with an i7 3770, and while the GPU is pinned at max, the processor is only about 30%. I kinda want to change that.

(Card can’t have more than 2x 8 pin connectors, and I dont want a GPU older than 2012)

CPU: Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.91 GHz RAM: G.Skill 4x4GB 2133Mhz DDR3 GPU: AMD HD 7970 3GB SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 500GB PSU: Corsair HX620W  Motherboard: Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 Case: Phanteks P400 Tempered Glass (Black) Monitor: Dell P2412H, Dell 2012H Keyboard: Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Classic Mouse: Logitech G203 Prodigy HDD: WD Black 3TB

Means would be too overkill for 900p,but if you upgrade you monitor, you won't need a better GPU

@Gaurav S Rao @JDE The 780/Ti were castrated over the years in terms of support, and they do quite poorly on newer titles.

I'd recommend either going with a GTX 970, or a 1050Ti. Maybe a 980 if you can find a good deal on one.

oh well, but a 690 is better than a 1050 ti,means it runs hot and is requiring couple of powerhouses is the drawback about it.What about 10 GT 210's? xD

where did you get the fact 690 better than 1050ti?? i told you its just 2 cards put into ine, most games dont support sli and especially pubg so it would perform like a single 680

you cant run 10 gt 210 for gaming, max is 4 way sli. and even if you can it would be crap, 210 is an entry level card for the 200 series

well i didn't get it from anywhere, but a 580 is between a 1050 and a 1050ti,a 680 is around 1050 ti grade, and a 690 is 5% faster than a 980,means not a hell of a lot of VRAM is available tho,but it can ez game at 900-1080p,maybe even 1440p,means the drawbacks of it running hot as hell, idk maybe could also be good for a new stove, and good for melting cases? IDK.

EDIT:About the 210's,it was a joke, who would want the world's shittiest value GPU????????

So based on these answers, I think I would go with the GTX 970. The 970 was one of the most popular cards for 2 years and I think there should be a good market for them. What's the price point I should be looking for?

Market is area dependent. I've seen them as low as $180 Canadian here. I wouldn't pay any more than $200.

5% faster with good SLI scaling perhaps. Good luck with that "5% faster" in games like PUBG that don't work with SLI. Let's not forget that a GTX 690 only has 2GB of usable VRAM. Good luck with that in 2018.
