It's 2017, we're in Intel's 8th gen of CPU's are we are still using DDR3? Also, glossy screens?!

REEEEEE

Also, for those that do not know: the MX150 is a pretty decent GPU which is capable of driving some not too intensive games at medium or so settings.

Together with the (dual core :( ) i5 and 8GB RAM, this could be a somewhat cheaper mobile video/photo editing thing-y.

the mx150 is about par with the 950m i think. i have one of those, and i can play Overwatch on medium settings 1080p no problem.

we have come a long way in terms of budget gpu's.

Yup, it supposedly was somewhat on par with the GTX 950M which is alright for games like Overwatch.

First time I saw the name I was very much confused though, I was like "huh? first gen Novideo GPU's?!"

Majority of them will have glossy screens. Glossy screen sells.

Most laptops I have come across have matte screens, but glossy screens are making a 'comeback'. This Acer laptop has one of those full glossy screens, like the Macbook Pro, that has glossy borders too.

It makes for a beautiful and bright screen, but you just have to make sure you don't often use it in 'direct light situations'.
