first things first is, im not an apple fan just their phones would be better for me after all my androids have had issues.

 

i dont want to spend a lot of money but the 8 plus will be about $850, should I get that or wait for the 10 and get that? ill have more time to save so ill have more then 1k by then.

 

im not sure about the no home button thing, as a physical button is a thing a really like

get the x - will last you longer, be more up-to-date, etc.

neither have a physical button btw. iPhone 8 has a dedicated space for it, but it doesn't actually go down.

iPhone X all the way man. The screen is the only way you interact with a phone so I would like that to be really nice. Plus it looks much better IMO then the 8 with it's stainless steel and glass design. Plus better camera, facial stuff, OLED, and more. Just wait but you better get them in the round otherwise you are going to have to wait until 2018 to get one again.

Doubtful. Most of the hardware is the same. What differs between the two should not have any impact on longevity of either device outside of user preference.

i'm concerned about stock for the iphone X. i would decide before the pre-order window opens. but to me, the iphone X mostly for the screen-body ratio and OLED screen. though the notch kinda irks me

OLED is nice....but honestly, that's not enough of a reason to warrant spending extra for it -- at least imho. And I doubt the rear camera is much better, it certainly does look nicer though. I'm personally going to get the X (instead of the 8+), but only because of the screen to body ratio. If the X wasn't released and it was only the 8/8+ I would surely be sticking with my 6s+.

I am in the EXACT same boat. Have the 6s+ and the 8 is still too meh enough to upgrade. But wireless charging, A11, AND new screen is enough for me.

well I want an android but sc on it is shitty on android and legit the only apps i use are amazon, snapchat, chrome, messenger, calling and my camera. ill use like drive to save pics to the cloud. and apple seems to do better with sc and the same with the rest so why not get apple.i

I would handle both phones side by side to compare. 

 

On paper the iphone x has a bigger screen, but that includes the obtrusive notch that takes up most of the top of the screen, so in practical terms the ip8+ probably has more usable screen real estate, which comes at a bigger sized phone. 

 

I also actually prefer the iphone7/8 plus lcd display to oled. The colors are more accurate and arent oversaturated like oled tends to be. 

 

Apple perfected lcd to the point they took the technology as far as humanly possible. It has basically 100% color accuracy.  Its lightyears ahead of any other lcd screen and looks great to me. I havent seen the ipx so i cant compare, but i prefer my ip7plus to Samsungs infinity.

imho it's everyone making a big deal over nothing. The notch splits the screen at the very top and so the top bit of the screen isn't really usable as a normal screen since nothing can be displayed in the middle half as there are sensors/camera and not screen there (but it's fine for the status bar). So it will really depend how well apps handle it -- I'm hopeful they either put settings/score options there (when applicable) or just leave the status bar their permanently (unless you're in a full screen video, in which case it would just be black).

I’m skipping past the end because I really should have been tagged in this post a long time ago. 

 

I cannot recommend the iPhone X. It’s a cool new product but it is new. Historically with Apple you always want the second iteration of something. Not the first. 

 

The iPhone X has an inanely high starting price for basically nothing. You get a smaller display (though at a higher resolution) and you lose the home button and TouchID. 

 

The iPhone X will be essentially impossible to find also. 

 

Take it from me, get the iPhone 8 Plus. You get all the same internals and cool features but with the standard design and TouchID. 

 

Save the money and don’t be an Apple beta tester.

You won't notice the difference in day to day use, I had a 7 plus and it was great performance wise. The camera is improved but if you're getting an iphone for the camera you should really be getting the plus for the dual cameras

The X is basically the early adopter toy. There’s flaws in it and stuff that definitely needs to be ironed out.

 

The gestures especially need more work if Apple wants it to replace the home button. They are too complicated to long-time iOS users.

If its just Snapchat the 7 would be fine, but if you aren't interested in outdated phones the 8 is really your only option. I wouldn't recommend the X unless money isn't an issue for you

Eh,i just belive xiaomi MIX 2 fullscreen, it have four curved panel,snapdragon 835 processor,8G ram and 256g storage(i forgot it)
