Looking to upgrade from my 4790k Any Ideas?

Hi there, 

I am looking to upgrade from my 4790k to something more powerful. Whats worth upgrading to?

I mean, not much really worth it unless you need more threads for some reason.

I've always thought more threads means more tolerance within high cpu demanding games.

Uh, not really? Unless the game is specifically designed to love threads, more often than not, you're fine with 2-4.

uuu nothing really? unless you really need more cores there is no reason to upgrade that CPU, at all. get a new GPU or more SSD storage instead, or why not a nice screen?

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

^ this, why in the heck would u upgrade for a 5% improvement for example :P, unless u do any type of rendering or heavy workloads u wont notice much difference
