How many case fans can I have?

I wpuld personally get a small fan hub like this and buy a two pack of air flow fans, and plug all three case fans into it so that you can control all three fans with one motherboard header (note that the connectors are 3 pin, and the connection from mobo to controller is 4 pin, this gives you PWM like control for three voltage regulated fans[its not real pwm])

I'm a super noob when it comes to air cooling, cases and fans.

This is my motherboard and this is the case that I want to get.

Under "Connector" on my mobo it says "- 2 x Chassis Fan Connectors (4-pin) (Smart Fan Speed Control)*". 

Does this mean that I'll only be able to have 2 case fans in total (most likely the fan that the case comes with as well as another that I buy)?

You'll only be able to have two fans controlled by the motherboard (excluding CPU fan). That being said, you can always add an additional fan controller or use Molex connectors for more fans. With the Molex connectors, you'll need an adapter if the fans are 4/3-pin fans.

You can attach three fans to the motherboard's headers. One will be the CPU fan and two others for case fans. They will all connect with the motherboard.
