edit: if you click on the link however and depending where that link goes to the IP might fall into the wrong hands, but then again unless you have a vulnerability on your local network there's not much they can do with the IP apart from ddos you.

No, posting links is just posting links.

Your IP address can be easily masked, spoofed, etc. and provides no real identifiable information without police search warrants and an ISP willing to cooperate.

Youtube gets your IP at the moment you enter page. Same goes with any service/forum you enter to post the link. Nothing happens when you post a link. At most keylogger hiding on you PC will get yet another Ctrl+V.
